About Me

connie1I was ordained as a Non-Denominational Minister on September 17, 2007 with a mission and philosophy of “Do That Which is Right.” I strive to better my community and serve the couples who come to me with the utmost of integrity, compassion and celebration of what it means to be a married couple.

I have performed hundreds of weddings, combining faiths and families, for over 6 years. This is my favorite part of what I do – creating unique celebrations for each couple – taking from their backgrounds and personalities and reflecting those in the ceremony I perform. I can honestly say I have never performed the same wedding twice!

I believe that being part of a community is a responsibility, which is why I donate 20% of my officiant fee to Charity.  I am so lucky to have worked with people who have opened my eyes to some fantastic organizations, such as the Wayne Foundation and Therapy Animals of Utah.

In addition to my work with wedding couples, I perform house blessings, baby blessings and funerals. To be trusted with these events is a particular honor.

I am also very blessed to have been the Chaplain for the State of Utah Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW for two years and serve as the President to Post 3586 Ladies Auxiliary. We serve our Veteran community in projects and fundraising to support our troops and their families.  As the daughter of a Vietnam-Era Veteran and the Granddaughter of two WWII veterans, service to our military personnel is of particular importance to me. For military personnel, I offer an array of services, from emergency ceremonies before deployment to personally obtaining certified marriage certificates to make them available immediately to assist with housing and benefits.  Anything I can do to help Veterans of the Armed Forces is my way of saying Thank You.
